Find — you name the word, it finds the skips
An equidistant letter sequence is a word spelled by stepping through the letters of the text at a fixed interval — every 7th letter, every 50th, every 3,412th. Strip the spaces, the vowels and the punctuation, lay the whole book out as one unbroken run of letters, and start counting. Type a word below and this page will find every place it appears that way.

Why the second column
You cannot see a result here without seeing what nothing looks like
Before this page was built, the honest version of the experiment was run: take Genesis, pull out every real Hebrew word that falls out of it at a fixed skip — then do exactly the same thing to a shuffle of Genesis’s own letters, and put the two side by side.
Genesis gave 10,290 words of four letters or more. The shuffle gave 10,065. Of those, Genesis gave 54 words of six letters or longer; the shuffle gave 55. Across the whole Hebrew Bible the shuffle again found more long words than Scripture did.
Read that carefully, because it is easy to over-read in both directions. It does not mean there is nothing in the text. It means that this particular way of counting — how many dictionary words fall out of a fixed-skip stream — carries no signal at all, because the letter frequencies of Hebrew on their own are enough to produce that many words. That is a narrow finding, and it is exactly why the researchers who made the most careful version of this claim did not use this statistic.
So the control is not a checkbox here, not an advanced option, and not something a careful person remembers to switch on. It is a column, filled in by the same run, and there is no way to turn it off. That is the difference between an instrument and a slot machine.

What isn’t built yet
Mine — fix a skip, and read every word that falls out of it. This is the “every 50th letter” instrument, and it is next.
Sweep — fix nothing, walk a whole range of skips, and draw a heat strip so the eye can find the skip that stands furthest from its own control. This is the backwards-engineering surface: it does not ask you what you are looking for.
Claim mode — which will not run until the search terms are locked before the text is chosen, the controls are set to a stated number of shuffles, and the report records how many things were searched. A hit found after looking at four hundred words means something different from a hit found after looking at one. Until that exists, everything this page produces is exploratory, and it stamps itself accordingly.
The Explorer stores nothing. It writes no cookie, no setting and no note; it never touches the key your studies live in. It fetches only the two text files that already ship with the app, and nothing else, ever.
